Harvester was my attempts at making a game idea that others would make through the use of following my Game Design Document GDD.
The world, meaning, gameplay and themes were all described in written form in the GDD so that developers could follow the blueprint so before handing in the pitch, moodboards, concepts, art and even animation was made to illustrate and communicate this in the same picth. Priciples of 'scrum' management and organization in terms of game design concepts had to be mastered in making this game idea so Harvester in many ways is the most documented and developed game idea I have ever created!
Creation of enemy types, the story of an integalactic harvester and the mechanics of the alien technology were critiqued and examined to make very digestible in my presentation of this idea and to this day remains very wildly ambitious as a body of work.
